From England to Australia, and back again!
I’ve been working on stage and screen since I left The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, way back. I worked in theatre for a couple of years before emigrating to Australia, which included ‘Amadeus’ at The Bristol Old Vic,
Once in Australia, I quickly found my way into TV and had several guest roles before landing a co-starring role in the feature film ‘Cool Change’. I played an Australian cattle farmer fighting for the right to graze her cattle on the mountains. Not long afterwards I was cast as Dr Beverley Marshall in ‘Neighbours’. Many TV guest roles followed, but it wasn’t until I’d returned to the U.K. in 2003 that I really rediscovered theatre. A highlight was touring Australia with Bath Theatre Royal in Hay Fever as the singing Cockney maid, Clara, in a production starring Felicity Kendal.
In 2017 I created my own studio and started recording audiobooks and working as a voice actor in corporate and commercial voice over, as well as being an on-screen actor.
